DR. TEAL graduated frm the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario in 1969.  She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Canada, specialty in Ophthalmology, 1974.  She is also licensed to practice medicine in New Yok State.

Dr. Teal was one of the first surgeons in Canada to use laser technology for corrective eye surgery and continues today as Surgical Director of the Lasik Centres of America in Fort Erie.  Dr. Teal is Chief of Surgery at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie as well as President of the Medical Staff.  She is also Chief of Ophthalmology for the Niagara Health System.

Dr. Teal also maintains a solo Ophthalmology practice and introduced cosmetic procedures into her practice gradually over the last 20 years beginning with Blepharoplasty surgery and Botox.  In 2003, she founded the Patricia Teal M.D. Cosmetic Laser & Aesthetic Centre to expand the aesthetics area of her practice.  The Patricia Teal M.D. Cosmetic Laser & Aesthetic Centre provides all areas of out patient aesthetic treatments for men and women and includes:  Botox, temporary and longer-acting dermal fillers, as well as skin rejuvenation treatments, acne therapy, hair removal and many other cosmetic procedures.

She trained at the Jules Stein Eye Institute of Cosmetic Blepharoplasty at UCLA in Los Angeles California as well as continuing her practical training in cosmetic surgery in San Diego, California and the Stephen Fagian Cosmetic Surgery Centre at Boca Raton, Florida.

Dr. Teal trained with Dr. Vincent Giampapa at the Plastic Surgery Centre Internationale in Montclair, New Jersey on the new Contour Threads™ procedure and she is presently a trainer for this procedure for Coherent AMT in Canada.
